My husband Anthony and I—along with our two boys, Liam and Luke—have joyfully called Calvary our church home for over a decade. This is where my family learned about Jesus, His saving grace, and were baptized into God's family. We love the Lord above all else, and His guidance has shaped our lives in ways we never could have imagined.

I first attended Calvary Church in 2002 while teaching math at Jupiter High School, back when services met in the school auditorium. I remember when the church body was under 100, the music was all acoustic, and when Pastor Dan’s hair was long and blonde. And in that really old photo they sometimes show of that time, I am pretty sure those are my two arms lifted high in praise. Mostly though, I remember the powerful Bible messages. Having grown up in a home that studied God’s Word, I knew right away this was a special church.

During my years at JHS, I was honored to receive the Palm Beach County Council of Mathematics Teachers’ Teacher of the Year award for high school math, and I completed my Master’s in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University. Shortly after, the Lord called me home to be with my babies.

When my boys became school-aged, I returned to my career teaching middle school math at Trinity Christian School. But after a brief season, the Lord led me to step away again and focus on educating my own children. I homeschooled for several years and served as an instructional leader in our Classical Conversations homeschool community. Tutoring has always been a joy of mine—something I’ve done for over 25 years.

Out of gratitude for this church, I began serving in the café, and for several years I had the privilege of leading our 4th-Sunday team.

I now have the privilege of serving the Lord here in two areas: overseeing the Café ministry and helping make the God-ordained vision of Calvary Christian School a reality. It is truly an honor to serve the Lord, this church family, and be a part of what God is doing through this church.
