After retiring as the lead pastor of an evangelical church in Massachusetts, my wife and I moved to Florida and have been here for almost five years. After searching several churches, my son invited us to attend Calvary. We knew from the first Sunday that we visited that we had found our church home, the great teaching and worship the spirit of fellowship and love told us the Holy Spirit was abounding at Calvary. I was asked to join the Calvary staff as the Care Pastor. It is truly been a fulfilling experience.

I grew up in South Carolina, attended Clemson University, and when I graduated, I was also commissioned as a lieutenant in the army. I spent some time in the Vietnam War, and when I returned to the States, went to Boston College law school. During my legal days, I felt the call into ministry and went to Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Then I spent the next 35 years as the lead pastor at an evangelical church.

My wife, Trish, and I have been married for over 53 years. We have four sons, daughters-in-law, and 11 grandchildren. We love all of them dearly.

Trish and I are a team and we do much of our counseling together. We also have planned and led over 20 trips to Israel. It is our desire to see all of God’s children having an opportunity to visit the Holy Land.

My passions are for prayer, preaching, encouragement, and helping people discover God‘s wisdom for their lives here at Calvary.
