Caleb Gudgeon

Caleb Gudgeon serves as the Worship and Ministry Assistant at Calvary Church. He leads the Kids Worship Team on Sunday mornings, supports the weekend’s worship services, and helps oversee church systems.

From Caleb: ”I grew up in a musical family and have been involved in ministry from an early age—everything from helping with Vacation Bible Schools to leading worship on Sunday mornings. I began leading worship at 12 years old and quickly developed a love for music and ministry. Over the years, I’ve learned to play many instruments and felt called to study music formally. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Minor in Church Music from the University of Valley Forge in 2017 and my Master of Arts in Music and Worship from Liberty University in 2021.

Through my walk with the Lord, I’ve learned to surrender my heart fully to Him and allow His Spirit to transform me and use me for His glory through the arts and worship.

I married my amazing wife, Candace, in 2016, and we welcomed our first child, Adalyn, in April 2025. My family means the world to me—each day’s greatest joy is spending time with them and seeing my daughter’s beautiful smile.

I have a deep passion to see people meet Jesus, encounter the Holy Spirit, and know their Heavenly Father through worship and Scripture. I believe that worship across all generations—from kids’ songs with hand motions to the hymns sung by our senior saints—should be offered with excellence and humility before God. It brings me great joy to see our children engage in worship and our church experience God’s presence together. My prayer is that we all find rest in the gift of Jesus’ salvation and grace—both in our homes with our families and when we gather each week to worship.”
