From helping kids discover Jesus, to greeting new guests, to serving faithfully behind the scenes—there’s a place for everyone to use their gifts and talents. Serving isn’t just about filling a role; it’s an opportunity to grow in your walk with Christ and build meaningful connections with others. Whether you can serve weekly or just an hour a month, we invite you to join us in making an eternal impact by finding your place to serve!

Areas to Serve

Cafe

Our Café Team is a great way to connect, build friendships, and make people feel welcome. We enjoy baking cookies, taking orders with a smile, or diving into the fun, fast-paced espresso bar. Every cup of coffee and every donut/cookie serves as an opportunity to share the love of Jesus. We encourage one another, pray together, and serve with grateful hearts—creating a welcoming space.

Care Team

Our Care Team ministers to those in need by offering assistance, hospital visits, prayer, and other forms of support. Partnering with our Care Pastor, we respond to needs as they arise, demonstrating God’s love in every circumstance. Through encouragement and compassion, we remind people of God’s constant presence and unfailing love.

Communion Team

Our Communion Team helps facilitate the serving of Communion during our services, encouraging others to receive Communion as we remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross and give thanks that our sins are forgiven. Team members are scheduled in advance and coordinate everything needed to guide others in receiving Communion after the service.

Facilities

Our Facilities Team faithfully serves behind the scenes to ensure that Calvary’s campus remains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. Though much of our work happens quietly and often unnoticed, it plays a vital role in creating a space where ministry can flourish and people can encounter the love of Christ on a prepared, clean campus.

First Aid

Our First Aid Team are active practicing medical professionals that use their skills to serve at Calvary. We provide care and support during church services and events, and help to create a safe environment for everyone who walks through our doors! If you have the training, and the heart to serve, First Aid is a great way to contribute!

Greeters

Our Greeter Team creates a first encounter for everyone who arrives at Calvary, making each person feel seen, valued, and welcomed. From offering a warm smile and friendly greeting to opening doors and handing out programs, we show a genuine passion for connecting with others. We also assist guests in navigating our campus, helping ensure every visit is a positive and memorable experience.

Grill Team

Our Grill Team prepares delicious food for services and events, often stepping in for special occasions such as celbrations, holidays, and church-wide gatherings at Calvary. With hundreds of people on campus, we faithfully and joyfully serve by grilling up enough food to feed the flock!

Groups

Our Group Leaders are people who are actively taking their Next Step! We facilitate groups on/off campus to get better connected at church, deepen their faith, and build friendships with other believers! At the beginning of each semester, we offer opportunities for people to sign-up to participate.

Kids Ministry

Our Kids Ministry is more than childcare—it’s a chance to shape the next generation of disciples. We create safe, fun, and loving environments where children can encounter Jesus at every age and stage. Whether you’re called to lead a classroom, assist a teacher, care for little ones in the nursery, or welcome families at check-in and check-out, there’s a place for you to make an eternal impact.

Media

Our Media Team partners with the Production team to capture, edit, and showcase the events and activities happening across our campus. Serving as photographers, videographers, editors, and designers, we create powerful content that celebrates and shares all that God is doing at Calvary Church. No experience or gear is necessary to serve.

Parking

Our Parking Team is the first point of welcome for everyone who arrives at Calvary. With a wave, a smile, and clear direction, we create a smooth and safe experience from the moment people drive onto campus. More than managing traffic,we help each person feel valued and appreciated as they participate in our services, events, and activities.

Prayer Partners

Our Prayer Partners are there alongside others in prayer, offering encouragement, support, and faith-filled support. We serve during and after services, creating a safe and welcoming space where others can share their burdens and seek God’s presence. Whether it’s praying for salvation, healing, guidance, or comfort, Prayer Partners help point people’s hearts toward Jesus and remind them of God’s eternal love for them.

Production

Our Production Ministry works behind the scenes to create a distraction-free environment where people can focus fully on God’s Word. Through audio, video, lighting, and broadcast, we use creativity and technical skill to support events with excellence. With careful attention to detail, we ensure that every cue helps draw people closer to Jesus through meaningful worship.

Student Ministry

Our Student Ministry cares deeply for the students in our community through relational and encouraging ministry. Each week, we study God’s Word, foster meaningful discussions, enjoy fellowship, and grow together in our identity as followers of Jesus. Our team serves students by teaching, leading small groups, serving meals on Wednesdays, and guiding large group gatherings on Sundays—creating spaces where faith and friendships can thrive.

Ushers

The Usher Team helps create a smooth and welcoming experience for everyone who joins us at Calvary. We guide people to open seats, distribute Bibles and materials, and help maintain a peaceful environment with minimal distractions— so that the focus stays on worship and the life-changing truth of God’s Word. Ushers are passionate about making people feel at home and create a space for God to move in the lives of our congregation.

Worship Ministry

Our Worship Ministry’s purpose is to glorify God through praise and worship, creating space for the Holy Spirit to move in the hearts of the congregation. Our desire is for people to connect deeply with the Lord by singing Scripture and declaring His greatness. We have many opportunities to serve on the Worship Team—whether through weekend services, special events, or within our various ministries.
