Dan started Calvary Church in 1997 with a desire to reach the community of Jupiter with the Word of God. When God’s people are spiritually nourished with simple, straightforward chapter-by-chapter, verse-by-verse teaching, the natural response is to tell everyone they know about what’s happened in their lives. Dan's vision is to reach the next generation and create mature believers through the teaching of God's Word. Dan and his wife, Cheryl, have nine beautiful children: Johnny, Daniel, Abigail, Noah, Christian, Hannah, Emma Lee, Avery and Maggie.
Cheryl Plourde
Cheryl came to South Florida in 1984 from Grosse Point, Michigan. She began attending Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale in 1991 and met Pastor Dan there in 1995. Along with serving beside and supporting her husband, she has a passion to see women grow in their relationship with the Lord through prayer and the teaching of God's word. Cheryl pours her life into providing a Godly, nurturing home for their nine children.
